Narrow Boat Tuition / weekend rental / team building days
NARROW BOAT TUITION / WEEKEND RENTAL / TEAM BUILDING DAYS Learn to crew a 60ft narrow boat in the tranquil countryside of the Lancashire/Yorkshire border. An experienced skipper will show you all aspects of life on a livaboard craft. Situated on the Leeds Liverpool Canal and we start our day at Barrowford top lock and head for the Yorkshire dale. The idea is for you to get experience on wide range of subjects. Along with day-to-day engine and boat checks, you will be taught about navigation, filling of the boats water and diesel tanks also the advantages of working as a team when using locks and to moor up. This is a great opportunity for you to learn the ropes before you hire or buy your own boat. Team Building Days For team building days we can take up to six people this would be on two boats. Courses run from 09.00 – 18.00 during the summer (Please note we sometimes over run on time). Refreshments and a light lunch are included. The maximum number of guests per boat is three. This ensures everyone get the chance to skipper the boat. Prices for one day start at £100 per person. We also offer the boat on a weekend rental package, with 3hours free tuition at the start of your rental.
