Talbot Express Autosleeper 4 Berth Campervan D Reg Excellent Condition
D reg Campervan in excellent condition Reluctant Sale of our Family Campervan (affectionately known as the Pig Van!) The previous owner had it professionally re-spayed which I’m told cost £3000. It has Pig decals on it at present that can also be removed if not to your taste! The van is 2 litre Petrol with 112000 Miles on the clock. It starts every time no problems and is MOT’d until May 2009 and Taxed until November 2008. New clutch last year and fully serviced with no reported problems in May 08. Overall the van is completely sound. This is a great family van and provides a great alternative to sleeping under canvass – it allows you to camp much later into the year (if not all year round!) I have spent weekends in the snow with no problems! We’ve just got back from a two week holiday in Cornwall and we had zero problems. It has been so well looked after it still has the original crockery and glasses that came with the van when it was first sold! The van is a 4 berth (2 up 2 down) and there are loads of sleeping options to choose from as follows:- Bottom Bed :– Small Double (Sleeping across the Van) Or Giant King Size bed incorporating the driver and passenger seats – this is bigger than our King Size bed at home and was an optional extra at the time of purchase – now very rare! Or Two Single Beds Top Bed (In the hi top):- Pull out Double bed Or Cot Bed (We have added a cot side to stop our baby daughter falling out but this can be easily removed) Other Features:- Kitchen: · Cooker – Double Ring Hob with Grill · Sink with Hot and cold running water · Electrolux Fridge Bathroom (Great design – bathroom door opens across the van to create a good sized bathroom) · Porta Potty · Shower Cubicle/Curtain with Shower (Gas hot water heater) Electrics · External 240v Hook-up – Standard plug socket on the inside · Electronic distribution unit (like a Zigg unit) for the 12 V · Separate Leisure battery to run 12v appliances (lights, water pump etc) It also has a large onboard water tank for the sink and shower. It has 2 full sets of keys and all doors open with the same key. Kenwood single slot CD/radio included We’ll also throw in all accessories, hook up cable (British and European adapters), water bottle and grey water bottle, full set of cutlery and utensils, Kettle for the gas stove, 2 gas bottles, fire extinguisher, first aid kit (one propane one butane) and loads of other bits and bobs Also loads of spares for the van, spark plugs, bulbs, fan belts, Hot water heater spares – too many to list. Interior lights Niggles:- As always with a vehicle of this age there are going to be some niggles – I’ll be as honest as possible but please feel free to come an inspect:- Slight surface rust bubbling in places – nothing major or structural Smokes a bit on start up – only for a minute until the choke is in – it’s its age. Some very minor slight scuffs to the interior veneer – it is 20 years old! Rear Passenger light cluster slightly broken – passed MOT fine with it in this condition. Hook up cover missing.
