FORD ESCORT XR3i CABRIOLET
Selling my Ford Escort XR3i Cabriolet. It's a 1989 G XR3i in white with half leather, TSW alloy wheels, cd player and all usual XR3i refinements. It is tested until March 2009 and tax ran out at the end of August, full v5 is present. Car has just been fitted with new middle section exhaust (needs new mounting bracket), engine flush, oil/air filters, rear wheel bearings, new battery and a full service which cost over £300.00. It has an immobiliser fitted and has been garaged since purchase. As with most CVH engines of this age, the engine is a little tappety. Car has been painted at some point in it's life and is average, also there's been a bodykit fitted at some point so stud markings are left on rear. The POWER hood has been repaired and does leak very slightly, grey tonneau cover included. Interior is acceptable of a car this age and needs finishing off, drivers side door suffers from some surface rust and could do with replacing or new hinges. Tyres are good & legal. Maybe other things need doing but I'm not a mechanic so couldn't say but would make a great project with a little TLC. I'll even chuck in a Haynes manual! Car is sold as seen.
