Harley Davidson 1,340 Electra-Glide Trike, £8,995
'Electra-Glide in Blue' 1992 Harley Davidson 1340 Electra Glide 'Ultra' Classic fitted with 'de-luxe' Voyager Convertible Trike Kit imported by me from New Mexico, USA, and painted to match by SEMP. What can I say. One Sunday morning I rode 220 miles from Manchester to Ayr to meet up with some of the BTW-Ireland gang at 'The Gathering' before lunchtime. A little over 3 hours including one stop for juice at Carlisle. The Rollin' Stones accompanying me on the factory fitted stereo. The wind and occasional rain kept at bay by the traditional Harley handlebar fairing, and Ultra Glide legshields, whilst the Voyager Trike Kit meant that the Lake District crosswinds didn't affect my 80mph cruisin'. (Sorry Officer, she just clean ran away with me!). Is there much else that would see you finish this trip with an ear to ear smile, and not a shivering incoherent frightened excuse for a biker/triker. A fine running trike. 40,000 miles, with Harley Davidson Stage 1 Tune modifications recently fitted by SEMP to give it a bit more go, and exhaust baffles drilled and opened up for the proper Harley thunder. Needs a bit of TLC and renovation in the chrome department, but if I don't sell it, that's on my To Do list when I settle down into the Trike House for the winter. ($500 worth of new chrome and extra shiny bits carried in my suitcase from Daytona's Biketoberfest will transform this trike to sparkling condition.) I really like the luggage capacity on this trike, covered cubby-holes in the legshields, Harley Tourpak Top Box, and quickly detachable Fibreglass Panniers; also fitted with 50mm TowBall and Electrics Socket for your campiing Trailer I want to sell. (Why? 'cos I built me a HD 'Screamin' Eagle' 1,600cc Ultra Glide Trike ) No, tricks, no scams, just an honest, straightforward good value opportunity, from a triker with over 25 years on 3 wheels.
